Licensed Professional Counselor
Lizelle Fischer
I knew I had a passion for helping others after experiencing a tragedy when I was a teenager. Since then, I have been on a mission to help alleviate pain and suffering in others. I have several years of experience in the field. I have seen many individuals, relationships, and families live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. I structure my counseling with the premise that the foundation of a good therapeutic relationship requires that the client feel comfortable and trust the therapist they choose in order to truly benefit from counseling. In turn, the client is able to safely and confidently explore their issues which can help them identify their authentic self and to know their purpose in life.
Professional Background
I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. During my graduate years, I trained at a mental health facility and local hospitals as a crisis clinician in a variety of areas, helping adults, couples, teens, and families explore and work through habitual patterns or an unexpected crisis.
